National bail Out
In May and June, groups across the country came together to bail mothers, fathers, caregivers, and community members out of local jails and immigration detention centers so they could spend the holidays (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Pride, and Juneteenth) with their families. Groups also held teach-ins to share the impact of money bail and incarceration on our communities. This month, to commemorate Black August, grassroots organizations across the country will continue to bail out community members to highlight the unjust practices of money bail.
Help support this effort, and the continued criminal justice reform efforts of the participating organizing groups, by donating.
